What would you say to Time if you got the chance? What has Time been trying to tell you?
Conversations with Time invites the viewer to take a moment and consider alternate perspectives on the role Time plays within their own lives.
As the world around us shifts and changes, we try our best to keep up with the ever-flowing landscape of Time. To some, she moves too fast; to others, not fast enough... but what remains constant is that no matter what we do, we can't escape Her flow. Each moment is defined by a version of what we perceive as Déjà vu, Presque Vu, and Jamais Vu - repeated instances, near misses, and forgotten moments.
As you interact with elements within the showcase, consider how your own individual encounters or collective experiences shift and bend within the Flow of Time... maybe you'll find her response within the waves. Because after all, a conversation goes both ways.

If you were faced with who you would become, would you reach out willingly or would you shy away from the burdens and responsibilities you never asked for? Only Time could tell...
If you were faced with who you once were, would you reach out longingly or would you accept your reality and the tasks at hand that now define you? If only Time would tell...
- As seen in "Fragility - Part 1," and "Then-Now" -
Price: $1,500 each
Everyone experiences Time differently, and everyone's feelings towards Her will vary with those eperiences:
Some feel a sense of loss.
For others it's much easier to find balance.
Some feel bound and stuck...
While others waver under the weight and pressure of it all.
Some hold tightly to try to protect what they have,
While others who haven't been able to grasp fully, instead reach out yearningly.
In the end, all we can do is simply accept that Time is all around us, and being in tune with Her can help to foster a much healthier relationship.

Deja Vu looked on in awe, frozen in admiration and bewilderment...
"I wish I could be just like you..."
And with her words, she began to change. With every wish, with every desire to be more of this, or less of that, she crafted her ideal image. And soon enough, you stood looking at your own reflection... every wish having now been granted.
"But why dont you want to be yourself? Why copy me? Please stop trying to be someone else, you're beautiful and precious as is!"
You realize you've seen this before.
You continue to talk to your reflection...

TIME — ever-changing, unwavering, unpredictable.
Yet there are moments when not even Time can be defined by her mere instances.
Deja Vu remains the same...
Presque Vu hesitates...
Jamais Vu finally remembers...
With the Threads of Destiny in her hand, Time carefully decides her next move. She waits for no one... so instead She brings us all along for the ride.

Faced with what seemed like an impossible task, Presque Vu did what she believed to be the right thing. And as the days progressed, she quickly realized that her actions left more to be desired. No matter how long it took and try as she might, Presque Vu could not shake the lingering feeling that success lay just beyond her grasp. This daily frustration soon turned to resentment. A call to action, now a constant reminder of the prison of her own making — where one choice forever changed the trajectory of her future. But she's so close. She will always be... so close.
Time is all around us, and the choices we make now affects more than we could ever imagine. I invite you to take on the simple, yet impossible task as Presque Vu once did:
Set each watch to the correct Time.
The sooner you realize that you're never in control of Time, the sooner you'll be able to acheive this impossible task. But keep going... I'm sure you're almost at the finish line.

As Jamais Vu grew younger, just as quickly did his memories fade... The life he lived and loved reduced to stories he could only tell his future self through love letters. But in those letters he found more than just comfort - they were the type of love and care only he could give himself as he read the words "these are yours, truly."
I invite you to take a seat and follow suit:
Choose your ink , and write a letter to yourself - past, present, or future, and leave it for Time to deliver it to the moment it's most needed. Whatever it is that you need to hear from yourself — this could be a story, encouragement, a cherished memory — just as long as it's yours, truly.

The Librarian, now fully aware of the weight of his actions, approached young Atlas. Though she could not see his face nor hear his voice, somehow she knew this solemn figure sought forgiveness and redemption.
"I'm not sure who you are, nor what you've done... but I hope you find peace in Time."
And with that, the Librarian corrected the error of his ways that Atlas would soon come to bear.
- Following the events of the book "Atlas: Fall From Grace" -

As Atlas sat with Death, they spoke about a Time when the wind would tell her stories about all that is to come. For a moment, a small glowing bud appeared beside them. Death leaned on her friend, knowing that there will be a day when they won't be able to sit next to each other and reminisce on the future...
Luckily, its not Time yet.

Whispers of what once were finally caught up to Time, and as she stood there with Life amidst the crescented eclipse, he looked at her and smiled.
"You've blossomed beautifully my child... Time has finally arrived for you. Go forth, beyond what any of us could ever hope to reach, to do the things than none of us could ever dream of accomplishing. The moment is here. It is now — you're Time."
